| Lowey Hija & Friends 1 |
(Typically for ages 2.4 to 3.3 years old)
Lowey Hija 1 briefly reviews the fundamental skills taught in the preparatory course. The goals of this class
are to strengthen your child's listening skills, focusing skills, body awareness and motor skills. In
this program, we strive to promote a well-balanced musical experience. This is achieved by exposing students
to the various families of instruments: percussion, string and brass.
|
| Lowey & Friends 2 |
(Typically for ages 3.4 to 4 years old)
Lowey Hija 2 explores creative methods for introducing your child to early stages of note reading and recognizing basic
rhythmic patterns. Keyboards, percussion instruments, and other classroom materials are used to strengthen these skills
as well as the continuation of general music appreciation.
|
| Lowey Hija & Friends 3 |
(Typically for ages 4 to 4.5 years old)
The last class of the Lowey Hija series provides a comprehensive review of listening skills, focusing skills,
body awareness, finger dexterity and pattern recognition. Note reading, eye-hand coordination and note
placement on the staff are the main objectives of this class. Your child will be able to play 3 note songs at
the end of this series. The foundation built in the Lowey Hija series prepares students for Music
Tales, the next series of classes.
