This one-on-one approach is a traditional lesson with a modern twist. This is the perfect fit for older beginners, adults, and continuing
students from our group sector. Objectives covered in these individualized courses include:
- technique
- note reading
- written theory
- compositional analysis
- ear training
- rhythmic understanding
- repertoire
|
Tailor made programs allow for both classical and popular music to be stressed and worked on at the student's pace according
to ability. A 15 minute computer theory lab is included in each weekly session before or after class, to reinforce theory concepts
taught in class. Students are required to practice four times a week.
Most private instructors at the facility are members of the Music Teacher's Association of California.
